I would just like to say to the newbie who posted saying that i can blog all I want from my parents' basement and stop living off of handouts because i dont have a job. It was more or less that, that was a vety shrewd political move. No no one but oyu will know who you are so you can go bomb an aboriton clinic in privacy will continuing to build you personal militia.
For the record:
Dont live in my parents basement
Have a job
Dont live of handouts.

I am sitting next to this girl who i had the pleasure of working with on a paper. NO one in the group worked together but we all found meeting at Starbucks to quantify working together. I see all the logic in the world with that. Well I have stopped listening to her and I can pinpoint the exact moment in time when I did. We were walking and she initiated the attack so I went with it, I take blame for my not being there all the time. However, no one in our group was. So she continues this after I took blame and apologized. Well she is like dont get defensive. RIght i will remeber not to stand up for my self next time I talk to her. Well she continues and proceeds to place her and our other partner on a high horse and then proceeds to say I do not know about you but Cass and I do not earn Cs and I dont know if we will even get that on this paper. So at this point I just stopped listening and pretended to conceed the argument to her. I am not sure why, perhaps it was after a good 10 minutes of me being attacked by someone with the more obstinance than a concrete floor, it gets tiresome.

Interesting little paragraph here.

All I am saying is, don't we have a right to fire Shrub, Condi, Rummy, Wolfy, Colon, Ashy, and Dicky? I am leaving the Sec'y of Interior out because I met her on a plane.

I am not sure how these neo-con hawks can see the video of the hostage and not cringe and feel a certain degree of responsibility for the deaths of the hostages and the soldiers. I do and I was against the war.
The worst part is that now we HAVE to stay as a moral obligation and there might, and probably will be others suffering the same fate.
My biggest question is how can people CONTINUE to justify this war. Civillians are dying because of it in a way that was totally preventable and terroism while operating on a smaller scale has become more gruesome. That to me means that terrorism has not lessened in any way.

I was watching promos for 60 minutes and everyrting like that and in recent years they have all been doing these were showing how easy it is to break-in to a chemical manufacturing site etc etc to show how easy it would be for a terrorist to do so.
Well two things, first off you can bet that if bin Laden is worth $30 Million, he is paying to get American TV. So they don't even have to think anymore about what to do. The Americans are showing them our weaknesses. Now look, all I am saying is; do we REALLY need to be giving them ANY sort of ideas? CAn't we have a covert government opperation for this WITHOUT it being broadcast on TV? I mean I would even support a private business doing this for the gov't--as long as it wasnt ON TV FOR EVERYONE TO SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, do we really NEED to be giving Americans more fear?
Finally, it is treason to tell an enemy what our weaknesses are; as we have done. So can we put Dan Rather on trial now?

To think about the origins of Hip Hop in this culture, and also about Homeland Security, is to see that at the very least- there are two worlds in America. One of the well-to-do and another of the struggling. For if ever there were an absence of homeland security, it is seen in the gritty roots of Hip Hop.
For the music rises from a generation that feels-- with some justice-- that they have been betrayed by those who came before them. That they are at best tolerated in schools, feared on the streets, and almost inevitablly destined for the hell-holes of prison.
They grew up hungry, hated, and unloved and this is the psychic fuel that generates the anger that seems indemic in much of their music and poetry.
One senses very little hope above the personal goals of wealth to climb above the pit of poverty. In the broader society the opposite is true.
For here more than any other place on Earth, wealth is so widespread and so bountiful that what passes for the middle class in America could pass for the upper class in most of the rest of the world. Their oppulence and relative wealth makes them feel insecure and Homeland Security is a governmental phrase that is as oxymoronic as say; Military Intelligence or the US Dept. of Justice.
They're just words that have very little relationship to reality.
Now do you feel safer now?
Do you think you will anytime soon?
Do you think Duct Tape and Kleenex and color codes will make you safer?

Heard him today on the commonwealth club. Interesting but he only proved we have no way to get out of Iraw and went into this without thinking it through.
He said our exit plan is to secure the peace. No shit. HOW????? no response to that
What happens if Iraq elects a Shiite Theological Leader?
Well, we will see.
Wow, glad to see our top Republicans really know how to solve this war.
Additionally, people say this is a war against the terrorists. Well will someone tell me how many Iraqis were involved with the hijackings on 9/11? Now tell me how many Saudis were involved? Think that says something?

Saw this in a fine, respectable magazine that I am sure many on tblog read and could not pass publishing it here:

And to bring it down to the average American citizen, let me say that means jobs. If you want to sum it up in one word, it's jobs. Because an economic recession worldwide, caused by the control of one nation, one dictator if you will, of the West's economic lifeline will result in the loss of jobs on the part of the American citizens."
Read between the lines. Open up your ears and clean out your eyes. Now tell me, how many lies was this war started with? Bear in mind one is far far far far far far far far far too many.
Now as I see it, why not make it a hhat-trick in November and have a third regime change eh?

We are the wealthies nation on Earth. So why can't we have Healthcare for all? WWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYY YYYYYYY????????!!!!
Conservatives still have not given me a good reason for not having Nationalized Healthcare. I am waiting for it.

ok look, here is how WITHOUT A DOUBT you can say that the Government is what should control economics and not the private sector.
The Great Depression. What got us there? The private sector.
What bailed us out? The government.
I mean look, all I am saying is that it is IMPOSSIBLE for the government to take us down that road but quite possible for the private sector.
Additionally, if it COULD take us down that path, the Government would STILL be there and STILL be able to take us out of that hole, but once the businesses disappear, where are they to bail us out?????

This time I am for real.
Look, we started this, now we unfortunatelly can not leave until we have fixed the mess we started. Oh and by the way, Liberals AND Conservatives need to stop bitching about why we started it. We did, now lets fix it.
And here is the thing. Convservatives, stop going we are defending freedom(sure) we can not do this on our own. We need to ask our Allies for help. This will not only help keep us from losing as many troops but will help preserve peace becuase it will not be nation making the majority of the troops therefore looking like occupiers.
Oh and another thing, can we all just agree it is a mess? I mean what will it have to take for a Republican to say that Iraq is a mess right now? I am ressurecting a term used heavilly last time this year; QUAGMIRE.
Moreover, OF COURSE we will find SOME weapons(hardly enough to cause what Limbaugh and O'Really said would happen, and certainelly NO nukes), it is a matter of HOW MANY!!!!!!
But look, my biggest thing is that trouble in the Mid-East is not news. For me it is like water in the ocean. Just tell me when it ISN'T there. And look, all I am saying is; "Do we REALLY need to be the ones starting it?"

I am looking for a guitarist, bassist, drummer, and another vocalist with possible "guest appearances" with other musicians.
I am trying to start a band that will be a no-holds-barred, non confined to a genre band. I mean we would do everything from Hot Club of France style Jazz to North Elementary style pop to Howlin Wolf style Blues to Improvisational whatever to the Big Wu jam band to well you get the point. We would not perform just one type of music. so if interested contact me.
